Guide Overview
Hello guys and girls, today I bring you a new and updated guide for the Scourge and Cursed Archetypes. So what does this hero do? Both Archetypes focus on poisoning foes using their deadly Infernal powers with chains and clouds of deadly mist, festering wounds. These heroes share the same power progression with the only difference being their powers' colors. The Cursed powers are tinted red, while the Scourge's are tinted green.
The Scourge is a premium Archetype that can be purchased by Silver Players from the Zen Store or is free for Lifetime Subscribers
These Archetypes can be obtained for free by gathering 750 Turakian Coins during the Bloodmoon Event on October to unlock from the Store of Dweomer
Main Mechanics:
1. Deadly Poison: This is a toxic damage over time effect that deals damage once every second for 16 seconds. Stacks up to 5 times.
2. Debilitating Poison: This a debuff that lowers the foes resistance to Toxic attacks by 18% for 15 seconds. This effect is also considered a Curse for Sorcery interactions.
3. Noxious Poison: This is a debuff that will place a Toxic damage over time effect on the primary target, dealing damage to them and nearby allies. This effect is also considered a Curse for Sorcery interactions.

Power Explanation
Level 1 - Infernal Bolts: This is our energy builder power that will deal Toxic damage, generate endurance for our hero and the first shot has a 15% chance to apply a stack of Deadl Poison to the target. The special advantage of this power is called Toxin Overload which will make all hits of this power have a 15% chance to apply Deadly Poison instead the initial strike.
Level 1 - Infernal Blast: This power will deal Toxic damage to a single target, and is tagged as a Blast for Specialization Tree purposes. Has a 25-100% chance to apply Deadly Poison to the target, based on charge time. On tap it will refresh the duration of all our Poison effects on the target. The special advantage of this power is called Virulent Propagation which will cause this power on a full charge to spread the affliction of our Poison effects to a secondary target as well refresh the duration of said effect on the secondary foe if they have any of our Poisons.
Level 6 - Condemn: This power can be charged to deal Toxic damage to foes within 50ft and a 15ft sphere, with a 100% chance to apply a stack of Deadly Poison if the enemies are not affected by the debuff. If they are already poisoned, this power has a 15% chance to apply another stack of Deadly Poison. This power the following special advantages:
a. Redemption Denied: On a full charge this power will Paralyze the primary target for 10 seconds and Stun secondary targets for 1.7 seconds.
b. Corrupting Force: On a full charge this power will apply the Debilitating Poison to the primary target.
c. Dark Rune: On a full charge Condemn will spawn a Healing Rune at the primary target location. The Rune will heal allies every 2 seconds for 10 seconds and is considered an Enchantment for Sorcery interactions.
Level 8 - Pestilence: This is our Slotted passive power that will boost our Toxic and Slashing damage, apply a toxic damage over time debuff to foes that attack us in melee range and we'll apply this DoT to foes if we attack them with ranged powers. Also this power will reduce the Toxic damage resistance of the foes by 2% for each stack of Poison they have as well reduce the Slashing damage resistance of them by 2% for each stack of Bleed they have. Additionally this power will reduce the effectiveness of healing effects on the targets and will also increase our resistance to Toxic damage for a large percentage.
Level 11 - Venomous Breath OR Vicious Cyclone: This is the first choice between two powers for this Archetype.
1. Venemous Breath: This power will damage foes within 50ft in a 45 degree cone and each pulse (0.5 seconds) of the maintain has a 15% chance to apply a stack of Deadly Poison to the target. This power has the following special advantages:
a. Paralytic Bile: This power will have a chance to Stun targets hit. If the targets are Bleeding this chance becomes 100%.
b. Infectious Bile:: The chance to apply Deadly Poison of this power scales to 50% if the targets are Bleeding.
c. Locust Breath: This advantage will alter the visual effect from this power to exhale insects instead of deadly mist. Costs 0 advantage points.
2. Vicious Cyclone: This power will damage to foes around our hero within 25ft with Toxic damage every 0.5 seconds and has a 10% chance to apply a stack of Deadly Poison to the targets as well a 10% chance to knock them back. This chance to Knock back foes receives half bonus from the Ego stat and half bonus from the Strenght stat. This power has the following special advantages:
a. Vortex Technique: This advantage changes the Knock back to a Knock to effect, having a chance every 0.5 seconds to pull targets toward our hero and the chance is guaranteed if fully maintained. Applies a stack of Furious if fully maintained. Furious increases the Critical Hit Chance of our hero by 1.5% for 12 seconds and if we are struck with an attack will give us the Willpower buff which heal us for 300 HP over 3 seconds.
b. Stand Your Ground: While maintaining this power our Knock resistances receive a bonus of 200%.
Level 14 - Aspect of the Infernal: This is our toggle form that will grant us stacks of Concentration which increase the ranged damage of our hero by a large amount and melee damage for a lesser amount everytime we apply or refresh a Poison effect on the enemies. We can gain a stack of this form once every 4 seconds, stacks up to 8 times and the damage bonus of this form scales with our Ego or Intelligence stat, whichever is higher. In this archetype case is Ego. Also increases our energy costs by 10%.
Level 17 - Locust Swarm OR Crippling Coils: This is the second and final choice between two powers for this Archetype.
1. Locust Swarm: This power will summon a swarm of insects to Paralyze the target for a short amount of time on a full charge, as well deals toxic damage over time. This damage sadly will break the hold effect early, because it is currently bugged. The special advantage of this power is called Festering Bites which will give each hit of this power a 15% chance to apply a stack of Deadly Poison.
2. Crippling Coils: This is a single target attack that will deal Toxic damage every 0.5 seconds and after 1 second of maintaining this power the target will be Incapacitated, making them unable to perform any actions for a short time and has a 10 seconds recharge. This power has the following special advantages:
a. Barbed Chains: Each time the target breaks free from this hold, they will suffer a moderate amount of Slashing damage and have applied a stack of Bleed to them. Bleed deals Slashing damage over time every one second for 16 seconds and is considered a Wound effect.
b. Light Everlasting: If this power is maintained for at least 1 second it will apply the buff called Light Everlasting to our hero and nearby allies, granting us a short heal over time. Light Everlasting is an Enchantment effect.
Level 21 - Ebon Void: This is our block replacer power that can be maintained to reduce incoming damage from foes' attacks. The feature of this power is that it will deal a small amount of Dimensional damage to the targets and heal us for a small amount of health points, this healing is a Lifedrain Effect. Ebon Void will generate energy based on the damage taken and our Recovery stat. The special advantage of this power is called Voracious Darkness which will grant stacks of the buff named after the advantage and each stack increases damage resistance by 10% and stacks up to 5 times. Costs 3 advantage points.
Level 25 - Supernatural Power: This power is our energy unlock that will generate energy whenever a Supernatural ability (Bestial or Infernal) reduces our energy pool to 15%. The energy return of this power scales with our Recovery better than most energy unlocks.
Level 30 - Resurgence: This power is our Active Defense which will restore a percentage of our Health Points, increase our Maximum Health points for a certain amount and our regeneration by a small percentage for 15 seconds. The special advantage of this power is called Unchained which will apply a large amount of Break Free damage to any holds or disable affecting our hero, a stack of hold resistance and a stack of knock resistance.
Level 35 - Epidemic: This power will unleash a great plague around our hero to damage foes within 25ft every 0.5 seconds for 4 seconds. If this ability is fully maintained it will double the amount of stacks of Deadly Poison on the targets. Also this power has 15% chance to apply Deadly Poison to foes while maintained. The special advantage of this power are
1. Outbreak which will reduce the maintain time of Epidemic by 1 second but will increase the chance to apply Deadly Poison to 25%.
2. Plague which will increase the effectiveness of the Toxic damage resistance debuff of the Pestilence slotted passive from 2% to 6% for every stack of Deadly Poison present on the target.
Level 40 - Defile: This power will deal a high amount of Toxic damage to a single foe within 100ft and has a 13-50% chance to apply a stack of Deadly Poison. This power has the following special advantages:
1. Plague Bearer which will cause the primary target to be affected by Noxious Poison.
2. Lethal Poison which will increase the base damage of this power by 30% if the target is affected by 5 or more Poison effects ours.
