So guys I was reading the PTS thread in the official forums of the game and I discovered that Kaiserin is going to revamp said power set. Also changes have been announced for the Master and Fist Archetypes. Discussion for these changes can be done here: Click
Personal thoughts: IDK what to say. Changes just hit the PTS and people are already reporting bugs.

At the behest of Criswolf, I just went to Public Testing Server for Gold members to see 1st-hand what was new. I've played a few Martial Arts toons (I really like my Unleashed Archetype, I've got any number of Night Avenger/Stealth toons), but am not an expert of this powerset. Going straight to the facts:
+++ Martial Arts powerset/Master Archetype 1st glance changes +++
Just spent an hour or so, looking at the Master Archetype, not just for its own sake, but as a quick 1st glance of what new Unarmed offers. Noticed how the Rush buff (for bonus energy) for Dragon moves (i.e. Dragon Kick) requires you spend a 3-point advantage! That seems a bit overpriced to me.
Then on a related note, there's (I think) a new Energy Unlock called Chi Manipulation. This might actually be the reason/offset for changes to the Rush buff:
The trigger for Chi Manipulation are Chi Energy effects. It turns out many moves from Martial Arts seem to apply this. Burning Chi Fist, Thundering Kicks and, I found this interesting, even Bountiful Chi Resurgence will activate this energy return. However, the lunge and Shuriken Storm will not.
However, when compared to other powersets or ATs, this currently feels a -little- bit energy inefficient to me. Not sure if it's because you want a little higher Recovery OR it's because many Martial Arts moves are charge-based, thus eat a lot more energy. Either way, I feel a bit sluggish compared to, say, something like the Soldier Archetype or perhaps the Unleashed Archetype. I need to play with it more, if my impressions change, I'll update here.
There's a few other options, like different Advantages, for the powers. Nothing particularly stands out right now though, will take a long look later.

Saw 4 new cosmetic/costume changes:
- a new hairstyle - a new mask - a Martial Arts Ultimate Attack - a new backflip emote, with 2 variations
New "Oni Slayer" pieces, pic above.
The Martial Arts Ultimate Attack look like some pose and massive kick.
The backflip emote has you flipping on the spot, then 1st variation has you strike and hold the following pose, while the 2nd returns you to normal pose.

Just received a new patch. It included a change to Shuriken Storm; it now deals Slashing damage, something Criswolf suggested.
I'm starting to notice some improved animations, which are cool. For example, after using One Hundred Hands, you enter into a fighting stance animation.
I don't have many comments on this Unarmed revision. I only had 2 or 3 Unarmed characters before, and nothing changed that made me want to make more.
EDIT - If anything, there are a number of "disguised" nerfs, such as turning the Rush buff on many Dragon moves into a separate Advantage so that, if you want to have it, it comes at the expense/opportunity cost of getting Rank 3, for example. I noticed that and I got to thinking if the changes made it better for Tanking. Well, Dodge-tanking has long been an expensive and tricky path (you need to buy expensive Dodge mods, and even then, 1 lucky hit could wipe you out, whereas a typical absorb/resistant tank at least leaves room to be healed). But the new Energy Unlock, based on Rec instead of Dex, might open up options to be an absorb tank while still using Unarmed moves, so you can have a good absorb AND SOME Dodge buffing. Maybe that's the way to go, I dunno.
I don't dislike the changes, if anything I quite like things like the new animations, but I don't see anything drastic. That's not to say the changes are bad, but it's just that nothing is different enough to make me more interested in the powerset, at least for now (EDIT - but I want to keep an eye open on some new Tanking possibilities, as above, I dunno.)

It's possible there is a new Archetype called "The Dragon".
I noticed it looking at the Innates. You got all the usual ones, then suddenly, "The Dragon" is basically +10 Con, Dex, Rec, and +8 Str. Basically exactly the stats you want with the new Unarmed Energy Unlock. Please stay tuned.
Nope, I don't think there will be a new AT. The reason: The Master AT had Con/Dex/Str as SS but with the review they are changing it to Con/Dex/Rec and a new innate talent will be created for this AT. The old innate talent of the Master will be renamed to the Dragon.

Ok so after reading over the changes i'm rather annoyed. So what follows is probably a rant...sorry in advance.
I started when CO went F2P and have played off and on since. First Main was a Blade and i did everything on elite setting. So far they have changed his playstyle numerous times removing or changing powers repeatedly. Again and again they take away what makes each powerset unique.
Most of the changes look like they stem from different groups taking over balancing and not knowing how the current system works. Adding Energy unlocks to every powerset for homogony when some sets have other ways of getting energy. MA had the Rush buff which worked with Focus to act as an Energy Unlock. Focus was the ONLY toggle form for a long time, and that was because it worked well with Dragon moves as the MA EU, adding toggle forms to EVERY other powerset was again a move towards homogony. But they did a pass over the powerset saw it was missing an EU and decided to add a one, repeatedly. Completely unnecessary imo. Adding in Specializations complicated things more. Now every powerset has an EU and a toggle form.
Now they decide to remove Rush from all dragon powers and make it a 3pt advantage. This has the potential to change the gameplay of several AT's, Unleashed, Night Avenger, Specialist, Blade, and obviously Fist/Master. For a very long time players have relied on the Rush buff from Dragon powers to keep their energy up without having to rely on an EU. This worked well in MA powersets because of how the set used setup, finisher, buff stacking attack chains to make it interesting and at the same time forgiving. A player would need more powers from MA to get the same thing done in another set, but it was interesting. Now they remove rush, possibly cripple half a dozen AT's and who knows how many other builds, and why? Homogony, sameness, boring gameplay design from Devs that dont think things through. Like the laser sword pass that gave us the Particle Accelerator->Unified Theory->Particle Smash clunky crapfest of a combo.
FFS play the game, learn how it works, then make changes. This cycle of bringing in a new guy and asking them how they think the system Should work, then making sweeping changes across the board is how we got into the mess we have now.
Look dude, I know you are angry and annoyed. I get it and understand it, but you know what, even if the recent +3 years or so of power revisions added a ton of crap and more gambling "pay to win stuff" I am glad that we got some critical changes, yeah yeah I know homogenization kills build variety and blah this and that. Some time around from the 2012 to june of 2015 the game was dead and it was a lazy dev team that didn't give a *censored* about the game. I am not defending them, nor the new one. My point is I am happy that the game keeps getting updates even if its 8 years old. I cannot say anything about the unarmed martial arts stuff but I don't use those powersets/archetypes very much so... until the pass hits live I'll give my thoughts about it.
Omg the devs just got me shut up. They are adding a new FREE unarmed AT!
New Archetype: Dragon Spirit Balanced Role Strength-Dexterity-Recovery Warden-Brawler This will be a free archetype. 1 Righteous Fists 1 One Hundred Hands 6 Thunderbolt Lunge OR Elbow Slam 8 Way of the Warrior OR Lightning Reflexes 11 Inexorable Tides OR Dragon Kick 14 Form of the Master 17 Burning Chi Fist 21 Retaliation 25 Chi Manipulation 30 Open Palm Strike OR Shockwave 35 Intensity OR Bountiful Chi Resurgence 40 Fury of the Dragon
Also the remaining Ony Slayer costume pieces had been completed so we can spect this power review for next Thursday!

underwerekng: Each character can only be in 1 supergroup at a time. So if you mean can your alts be in one supergroup and your main in another then yes, that is possible. you can use Hideout shared bank and Mail terminals to transfer items between characters in differen

underwerekng: If you have LTS/GOLD status or the Premium Pack you can set the emission point of many ranged powers to the head. That means anything that is Beam like can be used for a Cyclopes concept character. i've even seen one using Force Cascade to great effect.
