I think that may indeed be Snake Wildlife. There might be reasons why:
1. He had made some in-depth guides and has even advised me, very meticulous, so he's in the mindset Devs will listen to him in the same way.
2. He's a PvPer, so he doesn't want to reveal all his builds publicly, as PvPers generally keep their builds secret to avoid "showing his hand".
3. Previously, the Devs -seemed- to have listened to only the most vocal people, and somewhere in that dialogue, they interpret some things wrong. Maybe they had the right idea, but it's like they went overboard, or didn't understand the feedback correctly. The Dodge nerf and the Vehicle nerf seem to have been the result of that. For example, the Dodge nerf probably had the right intentions...but also made a few DEX-based Archetypes totally unplayable. It's a little bit of fixing 1 thing, but breaking 10 things as a result.
I'm guessing the Int nerf is the straw that broke the camel's back. It might not be the most productive way to give feedback...but I'd be lying if I didn't share the sentiment.

Okay so, reading up on the rewards for this, it seems that there are new powers that you can buy with the Villian Tokens? Can ATs use them? Because if they can't then I see no reason for a free player to bother with this. That doesn't make me want to buy a FF slot or sub, it just makes me not want to play.
Sigh. Update your awful F2P model Cryptic.

ATs cannot use any of this new stuff; FF only, and it's ABSURDLY expensive, 25000 villain tokens each. That's 5000 player kills per power, and killing most of the players interested in this, is very hard. So; it's going to take a very long time to get them. Also, the free players can't participate directly anyway, only the subbers/lts folks get tokens/day. The silver folks have to buy them for 10k q each.

Wow. I didn't think my interest in this system could go any lower. Looks like I was wrong...

Yeah, I managed to get LTS, luckily enough. The ATs are -really- going to be unplayable once this CD adjustment comes in. The ones that were somewhat playable before, are just going to be wtfuseless after this. So, yeah; f2p just won't be an option at all, it will truly just be a free trial@very best.

I'm still waiting the 'WOHOOO!!!' feeling. I don't know why this doesn't really excite me.
And i'm still trying to hoard the Mechanon Tokens from the 3 missions, to get the pieces. So, i have no real intentions to start playing more because of some New Tokens give some Amazing Stuff.
And those nerfs are there most likely for devs trying to tone down FFs, so the Onslaught Villains don't get reaped. No idea how my builds work after, not that interested even.
I've lost me Mojo!!
Haven't been on PTS. So no idea how these Become Villains works against all odds. Saving that for the free Token(s), so i have atleast somewhat 'WOHOO!!!' feeling.
And yes, it's SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKEEEEEEEEE!!!!
And maybe we get PvP back..................giggity...

I'm curious about the Become Villains.
I'm concerned about the Int nerf, very much so.
And it's not because of my builds. It's for everyone else's builds. Having been LTS for about a year now, I realised a lot of builds required Int + Molecular Self Assembly (which is triggered by cooldowns) to be viable. For example, that's the only energy unlock that works on many melee builds (the other being Supernatural Power for Bestial melee attacks). I hope they'll provide retcon tokens to go with this, at the very least.

Kitchen sink v 2.0.
Kinda expected from Crypric Los Gatos.
But this doesn't concern me.
More like I won't be playing new content because of this terrible, terrible grind that is needed for buying anything with tokens.
I still can't get some VB costume parts because of Cryptic's broken loot tables and now I'm expected to grind even more?
Cryptic is really overestimating attractiveness of their neglected, broken and underdeveloped game, if they think it generates enough interest to keep people grinding in masses. I'm giving it few months at best before this new stuff will end abandoned like Rampages.
Cryptic really needs developers who can understand what it means to have a reward for player's effort.

sniff sniff ... it already began to smell... I was excited at first, but reading a bit more about it seems to me another "great" Cryptic idea ... How this will bring old players back and attract new players? Old players maybe at first, but with all the nerf, I bet they will get bored/frustrated soon. New players will realize that is high end contend and heavily based on P2W, so worth to start to play?

Yeah, so, I'm pretty excited about this. The mmorpg article also referenced "loads" of other new content coming out over the next few months. Even if "loads" is an exaggeration, this is definitely a good sign for Champs that I didn't see coming. Maybe PW is finally remembering they have a superhero MMO, now that superheros are pretty damn popular in culture these days =P

Maybe? The forum name was Dicesnake and was supposedly "speaking on behalf of Snake." I'm not sure who Snake is supposed to be though since I don't frequent the CO side of the forums all that often. This guy was a colossal jerk to literally everyone in that thread and was outright demanding that the CO devs speak to him personally on how to "fix" the game and to ignore everyone else. If that sounds like the Snake you're thinking of, then it's probably him. Yep, that sounds like him. He can be safely ignored, as can anyone "speaking on behalf of" him.

Excellent, this Onslaught system has a chance to bring some players back. That's a good thing. Not that good at all. As it goes now, chances are that it may end with the opposite. Paired with excessive grind and nerfs it has a chance of drivig some players away. STO actually lost some players with their Delta Rising. Which was their "more pointless grind" expansion. It managed to work anyway, because it has a large playerbase and not that many people stopped playing. CO barely has any players left and its playerbase isn't accustomed to grinding in a primitive Asian grinder mmo style. Not the same gaming culture drives this game. And nobody really wants this kind of gaming experience here. I'm not sure if nerfs will hit ATs very hard, personally I don't think so, but if they will... Well, this game already proved that it can't survive with FFs and subscription only, and if Cryptic manages to break their f2p model completely, then CO will simply starve. Unfortunately, I have exactly zero faith in Cryptic and their ability to do anything right. Comes from empirical observation. On a more than one occasion, they proved that their understanding of CO mechanics, playstyle or playerbase also is very weak. Again, this view comes from observation. If this game will end turned into Champions of Cooldowns And Energy Builders Now With More Grind Online, then people who gave it a middle finger will not come back, or they'll be back only for a week or two before again going away and never looking back. It will hardly bring some new players, because the game has no advertisement anyway (but then, it hardly has anything to advertise these days, being unpolished and not even looking good on promotional sreenshots). And its reputation is bad enough so you can't count on community recommending it to too many people.

... Old players maybe at first, but with all the nerf, I bet they will get bored/frustrated soon. ... Yeah - I'll be back for it but I'm working on the idea that I'll throw a one of months sub at it. SWTOR will have new story content in Oct so I'll be back there for gaming and otherwise my band is taking up more and more of my time (though apparently we hit the top 3% of sales in music on amazon for about a week in June so I shouldn't moan!).
