All of this put together and you can see where people just walked away from the game. STO went from a nice, casual Trek themed game to a hardcore, expensive grinder. I myself walked away for around 2 months. I came back once I heard that the Executive Producer that called everyone exploiters had left and that a new guy had come in. So I have some small hope he can turn things around. We'll see though. Yup. Pretty much Delta Rising made me quit STO for good. It used to be my casual game when I feel like playing something, but not playing CO anymore (or more like playing something with passable good looking graphics, unlike a certain botched superhero game). Now... I have simply no time nor energy for this kind of grind. I'm not playing Asian grinders, I'm not gonna play or spend anything on STO. For all this initial excitement, Delta Rising is kinda fail.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the company ceasing to sell Z codes, seems that you can't find them anymore, anywhere.

Not just those, they got rid of around 75% of their payment methods. I used to use Rixty cards to pick up Zen every now and then for STO, but those are now gone too. Which to me seems very strange. They weren't making enough money so the response is to...take away ways for people to pay them? Bizarre.
