Okay, just hit Lvl. 25 and created finally my first nemesis.
Since the background of my main char is rather long (more than 3000 characters), I'll put his full background below the screenshot, so you get the full details.
Here are my two creations:
Scorpion:Born hundreds of years ago, the son of a mortal woman and a demon lives among his mothers kind, a half-breed, constantly struggling with the darkness inside, his fathers heritage.
He lives in the shadows, hiding most of his distorted face behind a metallic mask with only the red glowing eyes being a warning to those around him, that he is more than a mere human.
Most of his life he spend hiding, avoiding humans as far as possible and only interacting with them if he had to. A long time passed, decades, maybe centuries, while Scorpion hid, eating what nature or kind-hearted humans were willing to give him.
This changed, when word came of a dark power dwelling in the heart of the continent known as Africa. At first, Scorpion dismissed it as being of no concern to him, but then he learned that it was Harok’Zhadom, a demon who had possessed one of the most powerful sorcerer’s of that time. Being himself half demon he knew very well what threat this man posed. But instead of directly travelling to Africa and engaging Karok’Zhadom, Scorpion invested time in research and preparations, spending almost a decade of perfecting his fighting skills and searching for information about his enemy, finding a means of defeating him for good.
Finally, he was ready and traveled to the black continent, infiltrating the demon-sorcerer’s fortress and facing him in combat. It was a long and hard fight against ‘Zhadom and his minions but finally Scorpion prevailed, slaying the mortal hull of his enemy and imprisoning him within. The dead body was buried deep within a mountain cave, trapping Harok’Zhadom for all eternety there.
The following months Scorpion used to recover from this battle, which had brought himself to his very limits, a price to be paid for being a half-breed. From there on, he vowed to hunt down evil, not for the sake of man but for his own. His demon within had tasted blood and was lusting for more and when confronted with the possibility that his dark side might kill humans, Scorpion chose to try and contain his inner darkness by fighting evil, thus hoping to redeem himself one day and control his darkness, using it for good.
Since the darkness and rage within him were hard to control, Scorpion chose to wander alone, avoiding other “heroes” and humans as far as possible. But with the passing of time, it became more difficult to do so. Advances in technology in the richer areas of the world forced him would force him out of his exile, into the public.
After several more decades spending in Africa and other southern regions, he decided it was time to take on the challenge and hearing of Dr. Destroyers Attack an Millenium City – then still known as Detroit – he decided the US would be a good start into his new life as a “superhero”, though he still tried to keep a low profile and work in the shadows.
The recent attack of the Qularr, just when he visited Millenium City after having fought in other cities, changed this. Now he is well known and has to deal with being seen and even admired by the people he tries to protect from himself…
Harok'Zhadom:Harok’Zhadom is one of the many creatures dwelling in the darkness, colloqually known as “hell”. And just as most of his kin, he seeks dominance and power over every being and dimension but contrary to most of his kind, he is incabable of entering our world directly. Instead, he is forced to find a host, a human or other being which he can corrupt and possess, using it as a means of direct interaction.
He was the reason, Scorpion left the shadows and started his career as a hero, if a dark one. More than a hundred years ago, Harok’Zhadom possesed the body of a mighty sorcerer, warping him in his image and using this vessel to take control of a large potion of africa. When Scorpion became aware that one of his fathers kind was about to take over the world, he left his self imposed exile to fight this menace, that was not only threatening humanity but himself.
After a long and hard battle, sorcery against martial skill, Scorpion was finally able to overcome the demon, slaying his host and ending his reign. But Harok’Zhadom claimed that he would return one day to take his revenge on Scorpion and continue his quest for dominance. It was then, that the half-demon revealed his true intentions: Being himself partly a demon, constantly fighting with his own darkness he had foreseen Harok’Zhadom’s claim and prepared a ritual that forged the demon to his host, trapping him for all eternity within the dying human.
Outraged the demon realized he had not only been beaten but been trapped, all his ambitions suddenly slipping out of his reach. With his last breath, Harok’Zhadom promised he still would find a way back, then the mortal shell collapsed. Scorpion buryied it deep within a mointain cave, sealing it off in the hopes of trapping his enemy for all eternity. But Harok’Zhadom’s will was geat and his power beyond mortal measures. It took almost a full century but now he’s back, his former host a decayed corpse, a zombie possesed by one of the vilest and most powerful beings in existence.
Harok’Zhadom has returned….
