Did you use Tammy's Tempest Guide? IMHO -Tammy's Guide kicks arc. And, as supercollide mentioned, Blocking is very important. It may slow this game down at times, but it can save your hero's life. I began this game not really understanding it's importance, nor even how to Block properly. I get it now. I set Sam up to follow Tammy's guide, yeah. And playing Sam taught me that blocking is DEFINITELY required for soloing almost anything. I can get the boss down to half a bar of health before I die, but I keep getting swarmed by all the constantly spawning enemies. I can take them out with Lightning Storm, or even Sparkstorm, but it forces me to not block for a few seconds and take hits from 5 different sources, which is bad for squishy Tempest. If it was just me and the boss, or the boss' mooks didn't infinitely re-spawn, I'd be fine. Sam's DPS, while not optimized due to generic gear, is plenty high enough to shred almost anything I run across that isn't Legendary. Granted, I haven't tried the mission with my Glacier yet, but I can see him having an easier time because Invulnerable + Avalanche.

Hello. This is a good mission. Nice voiceover, adequate length, love the Tron homage visuals. Enjoying it so far and looking forward to what's coming next.
Here are some of my experiences running through the mission solo using my ATs. Hopefully, other players may find it helpful.
Grimoire - Level 40 with SCR gear. Forgot the setting was on elite so struggled initially but finished without dying. Changed it to normal on another run a few days later and finish without much trouble. Tactic was to run in, drop the sigils, block, activate circle of arcane power, use skarn's bane, block, heal, drop sigils again, block, skarn's bane, block, heal, etc.
Soldier - Level 40 with SCR gear. Had an easy time against mobs. Finished off the Danman boss by staying on the move and maintaining my distance. First run didn't die. Second run, forgot my tactics a few days earlier, died twice before succeeding. Will need heal device here.
Radiant - Level 40 with blue and green primaries. Took longer than usual but finished off the boss by taking refuge behind my sigils and spamming charged Vengence. Toon did not die.
Unleashed - Level 40 with blue and green primaries. No trouble at all. Take block with adv. Block, use BCR then EotS away, rinse and repeat.
Marksman - Level 40 with blue and green primaries. Strangely, had a much more difficult time here compared with my soldier, died a few times but beat the boss in the end. Similar strategy as soldier. Need heal device.
Devastator - Level 31. Died several times. Defeated boss by blocking then charging Skewer as well as using heal device.
Inferno - Level 31. Died several times. Finished boss by blocking then using conflagration and using heal device lots and lots of times.
Glacier - Level 21. Died a few times. Beat the boss by blocking then using snow storm and ice blast and using heal device. This toon takes a while to finish.
Mind - Level 31. Died many times. Was never able to finish the mission solo. Did not pack a healing device on this toon because she already has heals and block with adv. but her damage output was so low she gets entangled and overwhelm by the boss and mob's attack. If anyone finished this mission with a Mind, please let me know how you did it.
My build setup are all taken from the excellent guides on this site, with some minor tweaks thrown in. I've learned quite a bit from this forum and hope these small tips can in turn aid others.
Edit: Got my Mind AT to level 35, choose the Summon Nightmare power rank 2 with advantage and took her for a spin in the first Fatal Error mission. Was finally able to finish the mission solo. By first targeting the boss then summoning the nightmares and finally blocking, along with using ego sprites and healing from time to time allowed the boss and mobs to focus their attention on the toon while the nightmares whack away at the spider's health. Took a very, very long time to finish.

Yes, a Glacier is tougher, but he/she will also take damage when you throw your Avalanche and Snowstorm. And you may want to alternate between them so that you keep your energy high. And you'll definitely want to Block between casts. As for your Tempest, it might be time to begin gathering some of the better gear via those UNITY missions. I took me little over a week to gather enough Rec coins to get ever piece of gear Tammy suggests. I found Mods Vs to offer a sufficient boost to my Hero, but if your willing to wait, Mods VIs are better. If you still feel the need for some aid, how about a Sidekick: Steelhead Soldier? Easy enough to pick one up for free by completing the first part of Whiteout - Snowcrash. It takes me between ten or 15 minutes to get one when I feel to need to get one. If you have an Indy Kid SK from the last mini-event, that might work equally as well. Good luck.

Not only is it a good guide for each AT, but it also compares ATs with each other. In this 1 post, you answered many, many questions I've had in the back of my mind since the beginning. Thanks a lot.

There is NO completing this mission solo, at least not for an AT. Sorry to step in, but this is untrue. So far: Behemoth: no problem, no heal potions, just needed time Unleashed: again no problem, ho heal potions, did it in 10 minutes. Next is my Glacier and Void, I suppose. I do reckon my Soldier would have a hard time. It's dementedly easy on my Savage, who has R3 Regeneration, and my Void did good too, though not nearly as easily, thanks to the heal points I put in Summon Shadows.

To: not1stepbackwards You're welcome. Glad to be of help. Always enjoyed reading your comics. Very creative, keep it up! PS. How can I do block quotations here? Not familiar with the feature.

So I just played the 2nd chapter of this, Carrier Wave. With my Behemoth and Unleashed.
I dunno. It just seems to lack the charisma of the 1st chapter, inside Socrates.
Both were very standard dungeon crawls, fight some new enemies, then a final boss.
But its predecessor was genuinely charming, with the Champions being funny, etc.
So this Part 2...even with managed expectations, I dunno. It really lacks something.

I was playing through both missions with either my tanky FF, or the savage AT. So from my point of view it was quite easy.

I haven't gotten around to doing the new mission yet. Been leveling my 'Murrican themed Behemoth.

I also should say that I liked second part a bit more. It was shorter, after all. And I really don't like CO attempts at being funny. There is too much of it already ingame.

I'm writing now after trying the Conclusion of Fatal Error: the Cybermind Alert.
This is what I'm feeling:
I've not been rogered so hard since the last time I got rogered really god damn hard.
I've tried twice with my Big Gun alts, my Unleashed and Behemoth, who never let me down.
They let me down. Hard. I mean, it wasn't like Forum Malvanum. I got reamed.
I'm pretty dumb, but I think I figured how this works, then it doesn't work.
The colour coding thing...I'm pretty sure I got the right colour, then I got 1-hit KO'd.
I ain't even mad. I'm just in shock of the sheer length and girth of the shafting I got.

You have to really watch it. I figured out a trick with it, if you run to the color you need, then run to the outside square of that color; just as you get there throw an ice grenade, it should interrupt his death rain.
Done about 30-40 runs so far, 2 costume bits, 1 AF. Looking for the other AF.

I'm really glad I came back to play Fatal Error. The Cybermind fight is debatably one of the best/fun boss battles in the game.
ATs are not going to have it easy though unless there's a tank (and a healer to heal him if necessary). Otherwise, learning the strategy to the fight can pretty much avoid receiving damage.
I've explained the fight in the video's description.

Very quick msg to say welcome backļ¼
Your name is an adjective now, synonymous with good AT builds.
Usage - "Should I get Hard Frost for my Glacier?" "Yes, it's totally Waffles."
Watching video now. Thanks for this, really useful.
EDIT - so it turns out I understood the colour thing correctly, but maybe lag and using Melee ATs here meant I had a smaller margin to schlep back and forth between Cybermind and the edges of the room.

The Unleashed is disadvantaged for not having a lunge here.
I've only played this a few times, but I've noticed it can be finicky.
You have to be touching the ground in the auras to receive it, and a good idea to go nearer the centre or move around in it a bit.
I've died a couple of times thinking I've already gotten the aura. Simply flying over it with Ascension got me killed too.
Once I could have sworn I've gotten the right aura and it switched colour right under me. But, that's probably sleep deprivation.
