I just played it. I wanted to do so ASAP as too many ppl were giving play-by-play descriptions over chat, so wanted to just see it without spoilers. Turns out, they weren't really spoilers.
But I absolutely loved it. It might not have replay value, but I really liked its design.
I really enjoyed their portrayals of the Champions. They're just like any number of people you meet online, in MMO games, including this one. I thought it was really hilarious and fit them so well.
And like Finn said, the voiceovers. I think it's the 1st time I heard those specific characters speak. And I liked how, at least there, it explains why bits were in text and other voiced. Nice touch.
Finally, and this is personal, I loved the virus-infected bits...they were blackred. That was so funny. it's like our Blackredder costumes were so bad, SOCRATES malfunctioned from looking at us.
My feeling going away was this was a very meta thing. Like it's part of the game, but it's commenting on the game itself. It's like a little bit of 4th Wall breaking Deadpool humor, done quite well IMHO.
---
But here's my other thought. Its simplicity suggests they spent all their time creating the stages and enemies right now. They didn't have time do anything more, so it's a very typical mission.
Now that they have all the art assets in place, whatever comes next is the real deal. This is just like the early playable demo of what's to come. So I am optimistic, not about this, but about what's next.

It's really cool that it's permanent, But only 500Q is a bit low, and making ti a daily is weird. Why not make it like AP's, and have it playable 4 times a day?

That seems like a poor choice for a superhero name. You're essentially broadcasting your weakness to every mook and thug who hears of you. Not to mention you'd never be able to do a Marvel Team-Up, since one half of those is always Spider-Man. ...okay, now that was funny.

In that case, it's brilliant.

I finally got the AF out of it. I got the helmets a few times and sold them. I doubt I'll ever do it again now though, that I got the stuff I wanted out of it. The final battle was a real chore for one of my ATs, it even killed me a couple times when I wasn't being very careful.

Okay, I've been through this a few times now. Seems fine.
My only complaint is the one that seems prevalent with other players/posters on the main board...
If there are any final drops during that last battle, the sudden jump back offers no opportunity to pick them up. < shrug > Other than that, no real complaints.

Yeah, I ran it with a buddy and we got, like, 5 drops in the last fight that we couldn't pick up due to the jump back. The only other thing that bugs me is that you HAVE to team to beat the boss. There is NO completing this mission solo, at least not for an AT.

I ran it with Sam Sparx, my 40 Tempest. I don't have any Silver gear though; I saved up for Metallic Ooze Tunneling first so I could finish out my collection of Recognition travel powers.

Yeah it's a tough fight for an AT but a lvl 23 The Unleashed can solo it by spamming EotS and blocking (I see so many players never blocking attacks). The processes that spawn with the boss and use that nasty PBAoE give an audio and visual cue when they are charging it, block it and it get's a lot easier for Melee toons. I've done it 4 times with mine now and the last two I've not even needed to fire off a cheap heal device. Admittedly the last time I ran it I had just just equipped the q-store samurai primaries but prior to that he was in green gear no higher than lvl20, secondaries were pretty much the westside reward ones.

There is NO completing this mission solo, at least not for an AT. Sorry to step in, but this is untrue. So far: Behemoth: no problem, no heal potions, just needed time Unleashed: again no problem, ho heal potions, did it in 10 minutes. Next is my Glacier and Void, I suppose. I do reckon my Soldier would have a hard time.

...I do reckon my Soldier would have a hard time. I've got a weak FF with mostly soldier attacks that wasn't fully geared that tested it on the PTS, died twice (forgot to pack a heal device, self heal was a pityful lifedrain) but then I got my tactics together. Kept mobile, kiting then break off and hide using the doors, take out the spawns again then re-engage. It was a war of attrition and was harder than using the unleashed I mentioned but winnable. BTW AT players don't forget your device loadout. A sidekick like Liberty Boy from the 4th July mission, or the soldiers from the Comic Series can make a nice difference, Amazing Grace from Blood Moon is close to having an Active Defense, as is Nimbus of Force. The Omega Destroid device from Resistance works great on bosses.

I just ran through it/past it most of the time. Especially on the ATs. Fight only what I had to. The boss was a nightmare for my grimoire. I finally got the AF from it though. I don't think I'll be going back in there.

Did you use Tammy's Tempest Guide? IMHO -Tammy's Guide kicks arc. And, as supercollide mentioned, Blocking is very important. It may slow this game down at times, but it can save your hero's life. I began this game not really understanding it's importance, nor even how to Block properly. I get it now.
