The release of a new purchaseable device to aid gamers with CO, basically a beer cooler with a control deivice that attaches next to the pc and have a long straw that goes to your mouth, If you get killed, no beer for 15 minutes (death penalty), if you level up beer for 20! and if you kill a boss, double dose!

for comic Series: Day of the Destroyer
your heroes are catapaulted back in time to the Battle of Detroit, and must find your way back to your time, while stopping the feindish foe who intends to manipulate the past in order to conquer the present
and yes, it does mean a climactic battle with the REAL Doctor Destroyer

Not sure if it actually qualifies as new content ideas, but I believe it would be a smart move to give Archetypes more synergies and make them more playable, especially at lower levels. I'm not suggesting ATs should be as good as the average freeform, I just think some sets should be tweaked around a bit: some need useless and/or redundant powers replaced with useful stuff while others only need to get some of their key powers earlier (think Mind- must be lv 32 to kill things- or Behemoth - must be lv 40 to tank, and is protector role). A Silver who has more fun with low level toons is more likely to keep playing in order to level them, and more players mean more transactions, subs and $.

Well TOR has companions and everyone seems to love that aspect of the game. Cryptic added sidekicks for a while now (think it was before companions were even announced). Since then we've been asking for two things
1. infinite timer sidekicks 2. customization options (namely appearance)
There's another thing we've been asking for. More skins for pets. Here's the thing, some of us have concept characters that could use some of the pets available (I'm counting sigils as pets too) 'cause their powers make sense but not their looks. I would love it if they could add skins based on the 3 schools (science, arms, mysticism) to all pets. Sure that mostly gold members would benefit from this (I'm currently silver) but we're talking pets so it would still be gold unless they release a pet master AT at some point.
What was announced sounds good (alerts and nemesis addition to random missions) but it would still get old fast if we don't have a "new" way to play the game. Something that makes old missions feel new. Or at least work your ass off on the Foundry before 2013. Talk about infinite Comic Series style missions that you (Cryptic) don't have to spend money on.
P.S. looking forward to the SG hideouts and nemesis implementation, that's another thing that needs a before 2013 release.

New skins for the sigils for different themes would be nice. The fire sigils would be proximity mines. The electric sigils would be small tesla coils. The stealth sigils would be represented by smoke screens. Its not that hard to some up with ideas for alternate skins.
I would like to see a wider variety of pets, not just skins but actual pets with different abilities. One that I would like to see are more elementals. We have the Air Elemental now and it would be nice to see a fire, ice, earth and electrical elementals as well.

Problem with that is that it actually requires a lot of work And we know since they keep saying that they're working on new emotes (porting should be the word since STO has a lot more and most of the ones in CO to make the selection even bigger) and how they plan to "fix" certain running animations and we see patch after patch of nothing. OK that was a bit "what grind my gears" but just the same worth mentioning. While I'm at it how about adding that costume changing animations you mentioned a month or so ago? oh right it's too much work.

He did not ask whether we actually expected anything to come from those ideas. Lowered expectations are becoming the norm from ANY Cryptic team, be it STO or CO.

P.S. looking forward to the SG hideouts and nemesis implementation, that's another thing that needs a before 2013 release. I could not agree with you more, I don't see why they shouldn't release those things, especially when you take into consideration that the competition is having them and it's working really good for them, so why not CO. As for the hideouts, man, I can't wait for hideouts to get sexy, an universal carfting table is badly needed, also a built in power house with a weapon testing ground. I would also add especial treats that are individual to each type of hideout, something like a small mini-quest series related to them. Imagine an Alien attack on the moon hideout which left alien tech behind to justify the tech for the power house and universal crafting table, and a quest series that spawned from a giant wurm attack on the Cave Hideout, or the Purple Gang trying to assassinate you in the penhouse spawning its own set of mini quest. They don't have to be those things exactly, I'm just using the above scenario as an example. Such thing would persuade people to keep buying hideouts even after they got one. The quests don't need to be as long as the Adventure Packs but they could be evolved and complex to provide the player with a good reason to want to get all hideouts, then a "Master Quests" series should emerged for players that have all hideouts and have completed all mini quests series. Now tell me that's not badass idea!

I'm quite impressed by all the ideas posted! Thank you, Tumerboy, for your guest appearance.
Here is another idea I've been toying with: being able to record your own voice in place of your nemesis's dialog (I mean lack thereof).

An extension of this dubbing might one day include a dubbing station where every voice in a given cutscene can be dubbed by a player. Whenever a Foundry comes to "Champions Online" this would be a great feature for further customization. Players could post their own unique versions of certain cutscenes for others to enjoy.
