The Cryptic Store has two Adventure Packs available that I can see, Serpent Lantern and Demonflame. They are pretty cheap (336 points with the current discount promotion) and look like they scale from level 11 to level 40. Apparently you can unlock some costume bits by running them. How are they? How long are they? Are the rewards good? I'm planning my first point purchase soon, just wondering how they are and if they are worth the price. If they're fun and provide nice rewards, and don't get too stale running them again every few levels, I'd be interested in grabbing one of them. Thank!

Serpent Lantern is 2-3 hours long, but has several stop points. It's a bit repetitive in the beginning, and I'm not a huge fan. Awesome unlockable costume pieces though www.champions-online-wiki.com/wiki/Serpent_Lanternwww.champions-online-wiki.com/wiki/Serpent_Lantern_Costume_PiecesDemonflame is about 4 billion times more fun and interesting, and a bit shorter (you can do the whole thing in under 2 hours if you go at a pretty good rate). Much more fun and repeatable. And the costumes in it are a bit quirky, but have some uses. Jack Fool's mask is pretty sexy. www.champions-online-wiki.com/wiki/Demonflamewww.champions-online-wiki.com/wiki/Demonflame_Costume_PiecesGear-wise, it's just random drops. Each of the bosses (4-5 in each one) has a chance to drop a blue-quality item. Buuuut, these items use the difficulty slider to scale bonus stats up on hard and very hard (currently no bonus for elite). VH gear is the absolute best there is really right now (every blue drop from the bosses has a hefty bonus to random stats), but it's a pain to farm because the stats it grants are random. SL is apparently better than DF to farm it if you really want to, as it's faster to get to the first boss and repeat.

SL is great if you want gear...but that's about it. It was their first AP, and while it has a couple cool spots, for the most part it's kind of tedious doing the same thing repeatedly. Again, it's mostly relegated to a reliable source of gear these days. There's also a bug in Serpent Lantern where the mages late in the mission can recast their forcefield instantly. This makes them very hard for anyone squishy or with low offense. That bug should be fixed soon, though.
Demonflame is immensely more popular for a good romp. Bring a pile of crafted healing devices, you're going to need them unless you're one of the AT's that can heal.
You can make some serous G's with good luck on Hard Mode boss drops. Mediocre ones sell for 20-50G, and the "perfect" pieces can sell for hundreds.
