In the annals of super powered internetz badassiness there have been a few masters, Chuck Norris, and The ThechnoViking, just to name a few. But today I come to the conclusion that a new entry should be taken into consideration, Doctor Destroyer!
After hearing his nothing short of amazing threatening speech at the climax of "Resistance" you would wish you'll be "Dr D" when you grow up if it wouldn't be because of that attack on Detroit, but however, you need to understand something about the human mind, and that is that we tend not to take bad aces seriously unless they do something horrible, and that in a sense, forces them to go crazy and hit us with all might and rage and one must understand we in a sense persuade them to it, they are after all super powered, what you think they are gonna do with those powers save grandmas cat from the tree?
See Dr D won me over the moment he walked into that crazy guy Citizen Harmon, and in essence told him it was time to wet his pants cause the "Real Dr D" was in the house.
Don't misunderstand me, I'm not advocating terror, nor villianism, I'm just trying to make a better effort to understand Dr D from a broader view and I'm amazed how other super villains dwarf when they come into contact with him. He actually makes the Supreme Serpent looks like a evil gone Donald Duck!
Dr D is a megalomaniac conqueror who had the misfortune of living in a world full of super powered heroes, but in reality he is not any different than Napoleon, Caesar, or Alexander the Great, he wants what they all wanted, the world! And he won't stop until he gets it.
So should we be afraid of him? Yes, but also take into consideration that conquerors like Caesar did a huge number of atrocities and yet we don't view them as criminals, our recorded history is crowded with heroes we are supposed to like just because they are on our side, and we like them on that criteria along, without taking into consideration the fact that they are every bit as disgusting as the worse of the villains. I reckon general Sherman during the American Civil War raised Atlanta to the ground, and many today view Sherman as a hero, this is perhaps any different than Dr Ds attack on Detroit?
As you can see I can tell you that Dr D is one hell of a bad ace and there is no shame in admitting it, so call me fanboy, I prefer to consider myself a "realist"
So in the hopes to make you understand Dr D better"
