I've run into a strange glitch with the UNITY Special Assignment mission "Exhibit Hall Enmity."
If I destroy a Worm Gem, it still takes a bit of time (just a fraction of a second) before the annelized citizens stop attacking. If their last attacks "kill" me, they don't transform. Then, when I get back to where I was, they're still semi-transformed and worshiping the spot where the Worm Gem was, though there's no Worm Gem there. Since I can't destroy the Worm Gem that isn't there, my only hope of continuing is to "kill" the transformed citizens. And then they count as citizens who were not rescued.
Further, if I kill (for example) four of the five and the fifth one deals me a "fatal" blow, I come back and all five are there.
Long story short: Yesterday, just trying to get into one room, I "failed" the mission. Presumably it was because I'd killed too many Annelized Citizens instead of rescuing them, even though there were still plenty of citizens in the exhibit hall for me to rescue.
Suggested fixes: Change the counter so that it looks at the transformed citizens that are still actually in the Instance. Make sure that a destroyed Worm Gem means that the citizens are rescued even if the hero "dies" before the transformation is complete. Adjust the respawning so defeated Annelized Citizens don't reappear if the hero is defeated. Any one of these would go a long ways to preventing a "false negative," but given a choice I'd do one or both of the first two.
