I login to Champions Online and play for a while but then the game sort of pauses and says (near the top of the screen) "Server Not Responding". The letters appear in red and there's a count in parentheses, Ex: Server Not Responding (18.4s).It then takes me back to the login screen. I use wireless internet btw. Do any of you know what's going on?

I get this semi-frequently as well. I'm unfortunately not IT-savvy enough to be able to give you detailed help on what's possibly causing it. One thing you can try though that's helped me with this problem (that they've suggested on the support forums) is to go into the options for the launcher, and then under the "Proxy" setting pick either US or EU(depending on where you live).

I've been getting this as well, the only thing that seems to work for me was to drop my graphics settings, which I must admit makes little sense to me. My PC and its graphics system seem up to the task of rendering my actions but unless I drop some of the nicer graphics I get constant server not responding and rubberbanding. And only since the patch on 6/28, had no problems before. Works ok in the main city but any instances or other areas such as desert are nearly unplayable.

Thx For the Help . I'll try out both of your suggestions. I also thought it was my firewall blocking my connection to the game but i unblocked it and I still got a bunch of Disconnections. This is the only game in which this happens though.

I am also having this strange error. Before the lmpulse update and voicechat, I ran this game perfectly. Whenever I change instances the game crashes my router. Every computer on the network crashes as well.

Hey slarden i think you're having a more serious problem . Nothing crashed for me, all it did was take me back to the login screen. Yesterday i think i solved the problem. I went to options on the launcher and chose US proxy like randomchance 42 told me too and it's working fine now.

Fixer, the first you can try are the proxies (one for the US, one for EU). When you are in the game launcher, there should be an "Options" link at the top of the launcher. Clicking this will bring up a small window with some checkboxes. You can try the two proxies on the dropdown menu and see if they clear up your issue.
Basically, what they do, is attempt to give you a different path to the game server. If the route that your connection currently runs has issues anywhere between you and the server, you can get the hangs and disconnects. So, by picking a different route by means of the game's proxies, you may get more manageable results.
If that doesn't work, there are some other diagnostics that can be run to help figure out where the problems lie.
