If this is in the wrong section or inappropriate, I apologize.
After reading a topic regarding a player's trouble with subscribing, I thought it would be best to post the method here for anyone having similar issues.
According to the player, my method was correct - and is as follows:
Please keep in mind that it will be a "Recurring" Subscription, meaning that the amount displayed will be charged to your card/paypal/etc. each month.
If you only want that specific number of days, you need only click "Cancel This Subscription" on the "My Account" page mentioned above.
If your payment went through successfully when subscribing, it should cancel the recurrence and leave you with the full number of days you purchased.
(I would suggest waiting 24 Hours after purchase to cancel the subscription, should you choose to do so.)
If any of this is incorrect, please feel free to correct me.

According to the player, my method was correct - and is as follows:
- On the Champions Online Official Page, click "Log In".
- Once Logged in, click on the "My Account" located between the "Log Out" and the "Drop-Down Menu".
- Once on the "My Account" page, you should see "Payment Options" on the right, and something relating to "Subscribe" on the left.
I know that players that were once subscribed will see "Re-Activate This Subscription".
I'm not certain if that holds true for Silver players, but it might be there. I'm led to believe so, anyways.
I would just give a link to the Subscription page, but it is sadly Account-Specific. - It should take you to a page displaying the different number of days you can select, with "Lifetime" as an option as well. From here, you can select your desired subscription time.
