Having just joined with the free to play and have just upgraded to gold. This is my first attempt at making a toon from scratch I'd appreciate a little help if it is possible with this elec/ dark/ tech hybrid I've been trying to compile. This is for PvE and is based mainly on DPS, and I've tried to make him less squishy by using Con as a super-stat. Any advice will be well recieved. Build by championBuilder 0.4.1Download this Build here.test: Level 40 ChampionSuperstats:Level 6: Super EnduranceLevel 13: Super ConstitutionPowers:Level 1: Electric BoltLevel 1: Lightning Arc -- Rank 3, Rank 2Level 6: Electric Form -- Rank 3, Rank 2Level 6: Flight -- Rank 3, Rank 2Level 8: Ionic ReverberationLevel 11: Sigils Of The Primal Storm -- Rank 3, Rank 2Level 14: Electric Sheath -- Matter - Energy Union, Rank 2Level 17: Support Drones -- Rank 3, Rank 2Level 20: Lightning Storm -- Rank 2Level 23: Ritual Of Primal Summoning -- Rank 3, Rank 2Level 26: Orbital Cannon -- Anvil of DawnLevel 29: Invulnerability -- Rank 2Level 32: Electric ShieldLevel 35: Summon Shadows -- Rank 3, Rank 2Level 35: TeleportLevel 38: ResurgenceTalents:Level 1: EnergizedLevel 6: AcrobatLevel 9: AccurateLevel 12: Boundless ReservesLevel 15: Amazing StaminaLevel 18: Quick RecoveryLevel 21: AsceticThe key to this build is high electric DPS, with summoned entities as support DPS/ healing. The idea hoping to make a boss killer with survivability. Regards Andy

-You can't run Electric Form and Invulnerability at the same time so you may not find Invuln all that useful.
-Since you're running an offensive build you will most likely be a bit mobile (such as backing up when you see a charged AOE attack from a boss). With that said you might not find Rank 3 on the primal summon as useful as rank 2 with the unbound advantage since rank 3 requires you to be stationary or the summon will despawn.
-The primal summons electrical attacks are not buffed by your electric form the last time I had a look at that.
-Since you're SS CON and packing Storm Sigils find a way to stick imbue in your build. Imbued sigils do a ton of damage and you can also imbue your resurgence for a massive critical heal.

My word that was a fast reply. ;D Thanks the fast reply. I'll investigate in more detail later this evening when I have the time. I'll drop invul, I wasn't thinking there. Did not realise that moving demateralises your pets; I've been using tech summon bots (controllable) to date. I thought primal summons is elec therefore energy based and so elec form all stack up nicely. I'll research this better, cheers for that. Imbue sounds like a no brainer as well. Read a few CO wiki pages - hard to say if ritual of primal summoning gets the benefits from electric form for the electrical damage it delivers beyond its piercing damage. One will have to trial it when I get to the right level. Sorry for the noob queries: With regards to stance I was going to use the avenger stance, this seems the best choice for DPS. As for stats can you think of a better super stat combo? Thanks again for your time Andy PS I have found this thread very useful, many thanks.

Current set up: www.champions-online.com/character_profiles/6946489/viewI'll work on the background... ;D I have found imbue none too helpful in this set up, so I'll consider removing this and adding it again later when I have resurgence and possibly gigavolt. I have found the builds in this thread to date very solo-able with only the resistance side quests being difficult at elite level.

I have been having much fun in Zombie Apoc with this build; I'm squishy, but with the range and damage, I can usually crispy fry some heroes.
To tweak it for a PVP focus, what would you all suggest?

You said you chose IDF as there were no forms that you were interested in at the time. Now that they have the Concetration Form, would you swap out IDF for it?
It can be a pain that you can't use Unbreakable and Resurgence at the same time.
Thanks

If you aren't using a bunch of gear and specs to push your +Offense then Concentration is definitely the go to instead of IDF most of the time.

Okay, Shaz-Bot just reached 40 and he'll soon be outfitted with gear from the Champions Recognition Store. www.champions-online-wiki.com/wiki/Champions_Recognition_StoreStill not sure which gear is best. I'm guessing that at least one should be Heroic Breastplate of Defense, but other than that I'm kind of stumped. Not sure if I need to boost my Con since my Health is still hovering around 5,000. Your suggestions and guidance would be greatly appreciated. * * * Also, I seem to be able to take out lots of critters with rapid fire use of Lightning Arc. Is that normal with this build?

Gear wise it's really up to you. This build isn't really as gear dependent as some others. One suggestion is to grab the recognition utility that reduces power costs. The more energy management you can slide in the more you can afford to invest in CON to be a bit more durable.

The more energy management you can slide in the more you can afford to invest in CON to be a bit more durable. So reduce power costs. Is that Cost Discount or Cooldown Reduction? I already have a bit of both due to the gear I have found either in game or in the AH. The CR Store seems to offer three helmet options: Cost Discount or Cooldown Reduction or both in one. [Heroic Helmet of Efficiency] +Cost Discount [Heroic Helmet of Speed] +Cooldown Reduction [Heroic Helmet of Utility] +Cooldown Reduction and Cost Discount And after I take care of the power costs, what should the Super Stats eventually look like? Just ball parking it to the nearest 50 points would be nice. And finally, Should I be worrying about +Defense and/or +Offense? Or is that all healthy enough due to the Specialization choices?

<------------- You know I think I need to change this pic. It offers a look of constant SHOCK that I do not intend. Edit - There. No more shocked looks unless I intend them. Like here.
