Isn't it only ego storm that's bugged with respect to HR? =P

I love acrobatics with my bouncy beastie blade Border Collie Boy. Just travelling is fun-- maybe not as easy as flying, but leaping from rooftop to rooftop just feels so RP right. I will admit that I'm having difficulty making it work in combat as well as I'd like. When I get in trouble, he doesn't seem to bounce away as easily as I'd like-- is there a trick to this, or is it a practice thing? Did you take the Versatility advantage on Acrobatics? It reduces a lot of the "slow down when in combat" aspect of travel powers.

I use SuperJump on my homeless Super hero"Newspaper Pete" and I love it. Nothing better some dude with a Mane and ripped shorts bouncing from roof to roof.

I think objectively, TP seems more powerful, or at least easier (I've got it for my other character). But like Frosty says, acro is just so much darned fun-- I like jumping over bad guys, then lunging down at them. Some great animations, too. I especially like the reverse jump with the rotating backwards somersault (or whatever it's called.

There are other factors. Like the ability to scout and plan an attack or entry.
Teleport and some of the others like Superleap have one big flaw to me you lose the ability to sit in one place and scout this is just as important inside as out. A warehouse has lots of vantage points for an example as do other buildings and locations.
And defense as it can you get away fast or use cover.
For me after trying a few I like the Hover Board its faster than normal flight for fleeing or using cover, its a great scouting platform and if your a fighting type I have a suggestion use it to get to the place. Shut it off to fight you can always pop it up and run if you have to.
Other powers may be good for this to but for me why Teleport is such a holy grail is beyond me. Take the Grimoire I know the tactic is teleport, pop off runes and fight. But since your going to fight isn't scouting, finding a point of attack and going in just as good. I found few oppenents attack right off if its PvE you should just as ably be able to run in, hit the runes as you go and have the same effects while zapping away. And I mean run get on the ground and run at them.

Best power to scout: tunneling. Unless you are arrogant and in PvP. Because someone is bound to notice you dug in the ground, shamble over, stand on top of you and kill you with something completly embarassing like a fully maintained storm calling (or what the primal sorcery power is called). Ahhh good times

I mean it makes perfect sense since they also hit teleport but I never gave it much thought or tested it.

It was a very fun experience when in zombie apocalypse, playing a pure healer who couldn't kill anything. One of the last remaining heroes decided to abandon his friends and hide in the ground. We'll int/pre superstats... I didn't even have Skarn's Bane at that time. Strolled over, stood on top of him. He must have been really smug thinking "Heh they stand right on top of me and don't even know it." Started waving hands - he didn't move (after all who really uses that power to recognize it). Lightning came striking down: One hero remains.

There's also plenty of people who can see through tunneling stealth in any given T4 PvP match. You can use it to get close and pop up into a fight, but you're not going to have any luck evading people with it for long. If they can see you in tunneling, they can target you and use any attack they like.

I'm firmly addicted to Acrobat for my melees and flight for my energy slingers. I like easy.
The nice thing about acrobat is that it's the easiest to use in combat - it also has great speed for A to B travel.
The nice thing about flight is the bird's eye visibility - there's no substitute for that - also flight is the most natural maneuverabilty amoung the flight variernts. Straight flight also looks the most natural for killing it in mid-air and dropping into a lunge.
