Hello. I´ve just levelled my first Champions Online character to level 40 and decided that I wanted to try making a free build based on a rpg character I have
It´s a superhero android, melee only, with jetpack, that is strong and dexterious. I used Powerhouse to create this, but for some reason I got alot of powers when I made the build, but was unable to level it up to 40:
PowerHouse (Link to this build)
Name: Fast Power Engine
Archetype: Freeform
Super Stats:
Level 6: Dexterity (Primary)
Level 10: Strength (Secondary)
Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)
Talents:
Level 1: The Master
Level 6: Acrobat
Level 9: Martial Focus
Level 12: Physical Conditioning
Level 15: Agile
Level 18: Mighty
Level 21: Enduring
Powers:
Level 1: Clobber
Level 1: Thundering Kicks (Rank 2, Floating Lotus Blossom)
Level 6: Thunderbolt Lunge (Essence Assault)
Level 8: Regeneration (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 11: Roomsweeper (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 14: Resurgence (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 17: Enrage (Rank 2)
Level 20: Aggressor (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 23: Parry (Rank 2, The Elusive Monk)
Level 26: Uppercut (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 29: Haymaker (Rank 2)
Level 32: Way of the Warrior
Level 35: Masterful Dodge
Level 38: Form of the Master
Travel Powers:
Level 6: Jet Pack
Level 35: Athletics
Specializations:
Dexterity: Combat Training (3/3)
Dexterity: Gear Utilization (2/3)
Dexterity: Evasion (2/2)
Dexterity: Deadly Aim (1/3)
Dexterity: Quick Reflexes (2/3)
Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
Warden: Tenacious (2/2)
Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
Sentry: Fortified Gear (3/3)
Sentry: Precise (3/3)
Sentry: Fortify (2/2)
Sentry: Persevere (2/2)
Mastery: Dexterity Mastery (1/1)
As it doesn´t have any visual forcefield ability in the rpg game, I didn´t wanted to use any visual force bubble power so I decided to cheat a little, using regenerate and resurgence, seeing those powers more as some sort of nanite healing and backup systems instead of their mystical heritage in CO. I figured that as long as people doesn´t see any magical auras or anything, it would not break immersion for anyone. I wanted to use a hybrid class, able to work well as a combined tank/DPS build, able to deliver high DPS but also beeing able to stay put, taking on bosses.
Now, I don´t know if this build makes any sense or if I´ve made some serious mistakes here. I used Bluhman's guide "Powerset specifics" for help when creating this build.

Eagerly awaiting your judgement on this.
Update: I did another version of my build where I tried to make if more level-friendly by making sure it has a low level ability to have a bit more reliable defence as well as damage (defensive combo with Surge of Strength for Easy and fast Defiance buffs). I also swapped thunderbolt Lunge with Mighty Leap since I wanted to stop moving targets effectively (Nailed to the ground).
I chose to put Uppercut early and before Enrage since Enrage needs Knocks to work and Roomsweeper knocks the enemies so long away that it makes Enrage control harder (at least I believe so). Also I thought that the build maybe needed some more offence earlier to level it easier. Since I wanted a real hard-hitter earlier I decided to put Haymaker before Parry since I intended to use Parry mainly as a defence/offence toward really tough enemies/bosses, something that doesn´t occur as often. Putting Aggressor higher up the Levels is of course unfortunate but I figured I already had decent ability to deal out damage for low/mid level. I tried to somewhat make up for the loss of Room sweeper and its crowd control with the Dragon Kick which stuns enemies in a wider angle for less energy and higher overall damage. Since Form of the Master interfered with the Enrage stacking I swapped it for some energy unlocking. Not sure whether there is a better theme-friendly power to take but it seems nice because of the automatic activate.
