Re: BuildYour build, for what I think you're going for, looks fine. All I added was thing in-line with what you already got: powerhouse.nullware.com/powerhouse.html?v=11&n=&d=1645UYTWSRVM000700074037C037I037Q037G00O5007P0336039G00FJ00QJ007U00MB000a5C2Jut3BYvBasically added another Bubble Shield, self-rez, player-rez, check out what you use and allocate adv points when you find your go-tos. Re: PetsPets caused a lot of confusion and debate, because they were changed dramatically since you left. Some key points: 1. Pets now scale according to whatever Superstats you have; the higher the stats, the more hp/dmg/healz they do 2. Pets now don't care what Superstats those are; for example, having Presence as a SS does NOT increasing pets' healing... 3. ...except they seem to scale their critical chance/severity with yours...so actually Dex is maybe good to have. It's a confusing issue, just letting you know as a returning player, the dynamics have changed. Re: GearLet's divide this issue for when you are leveling, and when you've reached max level 40. When leveling, what I found most useful was the 3 Armadillo Gear Secondaries then whatever Primaries fit you Superstats at the Auction House for your level. This means the Armadillo Ring, Boots, Goggles, NOT the Primaries. Why? Having 3 of those grants you a set bonus of +25% damage resistance (which ends up being 15% in practice). They also scale UP with you; as you level, they give better and better stats, following whatever your Superstats are at the time. Those are available at the Questionite store, each at 11,000 Questionite each. The easiest way for you to get Questionite is to trade your Zen (previously Cryptic Coin) stipend via the Questionite Exchange, which you will have to figure out how to use (but it's not hard). On average, it'll cost 70 to 90 Zen maybe to get those 3 Armadillo Secondaries. Then pick up what you can afford at the Auction House for Primaries. When you get to level 40, you can probably still keep the 3 Armadillo Secondaries tbh. Then for Primaries, you upgrade to Heroic Gear, which are at a Recognition Vendor that takes Silver Champion Recognition farmed from UNITY missions, or you can buy them from the Auction House. For healing, Heroic Gloves of Healing + Sentinel's Brooch, Heroic Breastplate of Defense + Impact Prism, Heroic Helmet of Speed + Impact Prism, and plug the rest of the Mods with whatever your Superstats are.

Thanks for the reply, i was gonna get a rez, the gear advice is real helpful thanks, that was my main concern, that is i don gear right things could potentially go pear shaped sooner or later hehe. my pets seem to be doing ok, keeping me and anyone i'm grouped with alive, so i must of done something right lol. good to know about the pet as well will work in some more dex. But really thankis again for the advice, greatly appreciated as i am really enjoying playing this toon and being a techy support/healer not a magic one ^^

No worries, you asked good questions, had a good build, made it easy to answer.
And no worries on the Dexterity thing for right now. You have a good game plan, stick with your guns.
I mentioned Dexterity as an interesting piece of trivia. Consider the following. You're savvy about how MMOs work and usually, as in CO, being niched is the general winning strategy. A dedicated Melee DPS with Str. A dedicated Ranged DPS with Ego. A hybrid or support with Dex is a jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none, which is usually frowned upon...unless he is a master of being a jack-of-all-trades.
Imagine a similar build to yours with Dex, Con, Int. He doesn't do the most damage, but as a result doesn't draw massive aggro, and still crits for damage. He doesn't do the most healing, but enough to keep the team alive, and still crits with heals. And with how Pets work now, it's not a bad trade-off as they will crit with damage and healing, scaling to your crits.
You've probably noticed it's mostly random pick-up groups now, no idea who you'll get and no one coordinates, so being a well-rounded take-all-comers is 1 effective strategy for this dynamic, this meta. Just food for thought, I mention this and the Dexterity thing because this won't be your last character.
But yeah, the Gear advice IMHO is solid. Armadillo Secondaries pay dividends now while leveling and you can keep them at 40. You just need to play that Questionite Exchange a bit with your Zen, it's a fun metagame. The Primaries, pick up what you can for cheap as they'll be obsolete, and we'll revisit this issue once you get to 40, no rush. People can debate whether this is the optimal setup, me included, but I honestly believe it's certainly the most economical one. I'd rather be fighting than just farming for Gs, is my rationale.

If you want the best gear, you're going to need 450 thousand q, and the rampage tokens. It's going to take a while, but it's very worth it.

if you've managed to gain enough nemesis tokens they've added nemesis gear that scales with your level and can be swapped to any toon on your account. If you can, get yourself a set of the primaries for levelling up and more then on to another toon when you hit level 40. the nemesis/catalyst secondaries are not nearly as good as armadillo ones but you can at least pass those on.
