Hiya CrisWolf, this looked very solid to me, so much so I'm actually considering taking Holdout Shot for myself (for Stim Pack).
I think you got all the good stuff like the right Advantages, just some feedback on a few particular items:
Specializations:
Dexterity: Combat Training (2/3)
Dexterity: Gear Utilization (2/3)
Dexterity: Brush It Off (2/2)
Dexterity: Deadly Aim (2/3)
Dexterity: Expose Weakness (2/2)
Brush It Off, the AoE dodge bonus specialisation, does NOT seem to be worth taking here. It requires other specialisations to be Dodge-centric to take effect. THEN, there is a possibility Brush It Off does not even work as intended; it's bugged so it has no effect we think. In either case, better to shift those 2 points to other things, probably to Combat Training (3/3) and Gear Utilization (3/3) for more damage.
I took the samurai gear secondaries to get extra damage since the damage dealt by this AT is both slashing and piercing, both are physical. Any advice or suggestions are welcomed
I experimented with Samurai Secondary Gear and Armadillo Secondary Gear on my Unleashed, another DPS At. It turns out Armadillo, the damage resistance set, has a bigger benefit, to the point in increases my DPS by having to worry less about being defensive. I took Samurai Gear for the same reasons you did, I think; a DPS AT should focus on DPS, but it turns out the way the bonuses work almost always favours Armadillo for ATs.
The 2 above points are real learnings, this last one is just a personal preference, I prefer to leave Travel Powers unranked. In this case, my preference is to move the 2 points in Athletics to Form of the Tempest because of its low duration, but I could go either way on that. Or even take Versatility on Acrobatics, maybe. Feel free to ignore this point.
Otherwise, a real fun build it looks like.
