Hey Guys,
Firstly I'd like to thank Tammy for her archetype guides. I followed them and am doing pretty good... Heck I'm doing great!
Now to business...
I just bought my first FF slot in the sale and am completely new to the builds stuff.
So I need professional help!
I've had the character I wanna make worked out for some time...
A speedy, stealthy, nanotech-enhanced cyber ninja who uses multiple precisely placed strikes (one hundred hands) to take out enemies. [So I wanted most powers to be unarmed]
He resorts to the use of his dual pistols (lead tempest), dual swords (sword cyclone) and sniper rifle (obvious) only as a last option.
Survivable DPS type thing. [These are the only armed powers I wanted to include in the build]
Those four powers and travel powers I am sure of. Of course I can include other stuff myself but I have no clue what passives to use and how to make synergies work.
So, kindly flesh this out.

Here's link to my guide about going from a concept to a build: champions-online.proboards.com/thread/2532?page=1I'll try rattling some ideas through the process but instantly the passive Night Warrior seems a good fit, MSA seems the most likely Energy Unlock so you'll likely want INT as a Secondary Superstat with probably DEX Primary and CON the other secondary. You'll want to pack BCR and Conviction for heals. At least 1 Active Offense and at least 1 Active Defense, so I'm guessing Masterful Dodge and for active offense either Ego Surge, Lock & Load or Intensity. you'll then need to constantly keep firing heals AO & ADs to keep energy coming back to you when they come off cooldown. One of the keys to a nice survivable DPS build is often economy of powers, in CO you only really need 2 attacks (one single target and one AoE). That way you can add a lot of heals, damage mitigation, damage boosts etc to keep you alive and pumping out damage. You already have 4 attacks and still state you want most powers to be unarmed, I would suggest you take another look at that list and see if you can trim it. Which travel powers were you looking at? I'll come back with a rough build later.

OK, rough draft without Spec tree picks. Bearing in mind your power choices mentioned before the only Single target attack you had was sniper rifle, not one I would rely on all the time personally (but great as an additional 'flavour' power) so I added Dragon Uppercut BUT that's meant there is no room in the build for a lunge, mostly using Melee you will feel that lack of that. I would drop Sword Cyclone and instead pick up Eye of the Storm. As far as last resorts go, Sword Cyclone does nothing for you except being energy hungry, Lead Tempest can boosts dodge further on top of Night Warrior. With Eye of the Storm as your thematic dual swords block, you can drop Parry and free up a power slot, for maybe taking Masterful Dodge.
Sniper Rifle works well with Night Warrior as an opener or alpha strike, very fun (for you, not the opponent) in casual or team pvp. Charging Sniper Rifle is interrupted if you take damage so it's not useful for anything else. Bottomline, in most cases, it can be a waste of a power pick and 4 advantage points.
Supercollide has got you covered build wise.

I was thinking of including energy shield instead of parry in order to get the techy feel. What do you guys think? I'm gonna level my guy up till 20 and hopefully understand some of the specialization tree before that. Help in that regard will also be highly appreciated.
One more thing though, Tammy. Could you suggest some gear to go with this build in case I use Eye of the Storm or Sword Cyclone? I love your gear choices in Primary (Heroic), purple secondaries and mods because all those are easily available and extremely affordable for me.

No problem, I'll suggest gear once I've reworked the build a bit and got those specs choices in (would still welcome Tammy's advice there though ;-) ). Maybe use Force shield instead of energy shield, it passes as looking techy and the advantage lets it linger, which if you block as regularly as Defender suggests means you almost always have that mitigation in place.

Ok, here's a build with Sword Cyclone swapped out for Eye of the Storm. Force shield replaces parry Sniper Rifle is dropped and a lunge added instead. If these changes don't suit you just swap them around. I've added Spec trees but I'm not up to speed on gearing yet as I don't have PTS access to work the numbers out. Well this just keeps getting better and better. I'm just gonna keep Sword cyclone for thematic reasons but otherwise the changes... Well, you guys are the pros and they dont conflict with my theme. I especially like that I didn't even have to say that I'm gonna go for Athletics. You just put it in there yourself. I'm good to go. Eagerly awaiting the gear info. THANKS!

I've done a LOT of testing, and the only thing dex has going for it now is expose weakness. I changed to ego; and found it works better for everything: more hp, same crit/severe(with proper eq) more dps.
I'd take these:
Legion's Piercing Gloves + warlord core + lucky x1 Legion's Agility + lucky x2 Legion's Speed + imp x2
then vigi crit belt, and then you can pick and choose the other two vigis, hastened is prolly the better choice.

Here's another reference for you to go by, I cite gear together with talents to since final stats are a combination of both. Gearing is just personal variation, Supercollide's is sound as well.

Since One Hundred Hands is likely your main dps attack, may I suggest switching from Warden to Guardian, so the 2 points from Elusive can be put into Locus for a direct increase to offense/defense that synergises with Vind/Guard instead of a more conditional increase in resistance.

OK. One more question guys. I'm gonna follow all of your suggestions in different builds. My question is what role should i chose in each? What role should I choose in case of SuperCollide's build and gear, what role in Tammy's case and which one for XStorm's listing.
