I've been following this build and I'm really liking it. I'm thinking about making a couple of changes, though. I'd like to drop Upheaval (I just hate the animation) and Annihilate (because it's non-Earth). I think I'm going to replace them with Stone Shroud and Fissure. I know this is going to lower my damage output by a fair amount, but I've learned that my attachment to the character is more important than their uberness in my willingness to play it.
So a couple of questions:
What do you use to proc MSA? Conviction, certainly, but I'm guessing also Seismic Smash? Is it a chore to keep MSA fueling Seismic? I know the Active Defenses and the Active Offense proc it also, but with the longer cooldowns I'm guessing they don't have a huge impact.
I'm thinking about switching from DEX to EGO for primary superstat, and gearing for about 70 DEX. I've tried using EGO as primary on a few ranged characters lately, and I'm really liking it. Would this be problematic otherwise in the build?

Would this be problematic otherwise in the build? Anyway, thanks for any feedback! MSA is proc'd mostly through conviction. Honestly, with the gear I have much of the time it's not even needed. Swapping Dex for Ego is OK as long as you have some way of keeping your critical chance numbers up. I have annihilate in there with the Stone Axe weapon skin to make it "Earth" and give the character essentially an earthen weapon.

sir what you mean build revised? is this build also effective with pvp both melee and range?
